questo subject non significa nulla. a volte basterebbe leggersi un  
po' di fonti in giro.
io nel caso specifico ti consiglio questa:

l'help della relativa voce del kernel. Avere il supporto per accedere  
a dell'hardware significa magari anche semplicemente capire come  
funziona e come puo` essere programmato/usato e quali siano i suoi  
punti deboli. Cioe` cosa completamente diversa da implementare DRM.
Davvero non capisco come si possano confondere le due cose.
