Meeting in memory of the italian anarchist
Errico Malatesta, after 150 years from his birth
Naples, Italy on the 5th, 6th, 7th of December 2003
Palazzo dello Spagnuolo, via Vergini 19
Organized by the anarchist groups from Naples joining the Italian Anarchist Federation,
with the help of Fondazione Morra
On the 5th, 6th and 7th of December 2003, comrades from Italy and all around the world will meet to discuss and to understand the personality and life of Errico Malatesta, a man gifted with apparently opposing qualities. In spite of his comprehensive and open-minded temper, for his perseverance in his ideas and in his political praxis he became -and he still is- one of the most remarkable personalities of the italian and international anarchist movement.
He was one of the most famous revolutionaries in his times and he became an icon of freedom for the italian working class movement. After the Second World War, the authority and the official history tried to delete all of his life and theories from the historical memory.
This meeting will be very important, not only for everyone who shares the aims and the theories of Malatesta, but also for those who want to learn more about the unofficial history.
