segnalazione inviata ad infoantifa@ecn.org il 27 marzo 2008:
Ciao ragazzi,
Pardonami, ma non parlo bene italiano.
Sono Irlandese. I am an active member of Anti-Fascist Action Ireland (AFA Ireland).
I live in Siracusa and have lived here for 3 years now with my husband. Up to now we have had no visible problems with fascists here (except for the very evident graffiti). However, in the past 2 weeks we have had two incidents with a group of about 10 fascists. Both incidents happened in a pub called “Sale” in Ortigia. We have drank there for 3 years and never had a problem before. 2 weeks ago we had a friend over who is a skinhead. They were onto us immediately. 9 of them waited outside the pub for us at closing time and demanded to know if we were SHARP. One of the guys with us was physically attacked. We escaped because the pub took us back in and locked the doors.
We were there again on Monday night and the same group came in again. This time there were 10 of them. They watched us for an hour and the 8 of them left to wait outside. 2 stayed inside and watched us. They were trying to intimidate us by moving their positions and staring us out. We couldn’t leave the pub so we had to phone a friend to drive us to the door of the pub. We all piled into the car and drove away quickly avoiding a confrontation.
